Kilkerran
Kilkerran is the single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown — the region's third and youngest working distillery, revived in 2004 by the Mitchell family (owners of Springbank). The whisky cannot be sold as "Glengyle" (the name is held elsewhere), so it is bottled as Kilkerran — from an old name for the Campbeltown settlement (Gaelic Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain).
